MuBiTec_LEA

The sub-project LEA (learning processes and aesthetic experiences in app music practice)is a three-year longitudinal study that examines learning processes, opportunities for aesthetic experience, and criteria for musical judgment in music practices with digital smart technologies.

The way in which the research participants make music with their smartphone or tablet in an informal setting is monitored over a year through observation of practice, narrative interviews, and videography. The data is then analyzed based on grounded theory methodology.
